Robin Unger says that the darkly colored version of Towner came from the DVD "Murder in Dealey Plaza".

And, he says the lighter-colored gif came from "The Lost Bullet" DVD.

So, that establishes the source of each one, but it doesn't lessen any of the disparities, including the color disparity. But, the biggest disparity is that the mother's hand is held high and flicking back and forth, but in the top frame, she has no arm raised, and her arm appears to be going down. And in the gif directly above, all you really see is the orange blob, the white blob, and the flicking hand. The rest is just tree. There really is no mother.

Honestly, when you look at this, do you see a woman with her arm raised and waving it high overhead?

So, why the inconsistency, Robin? In the gif, including the long version, the flicking of raised hand is constant. How could this be cut out of that? What we have above are an orange blob and a white blob for the "baby" (which is how Jason Burke put it) while the mother has a very stick-like, rudimentary structure that conforms perfectly to the shape of the tree trunk. Her face is a complete blank with no features.

The Towner Woman and Baby are fake. They are just a cartoon. They weren't there. They weren't real.
