There is a bait and switch going on. What they do is make an enlargement of a tiny portion of the frame, and then they enhance it. They add more content than was actually there.

For instance, Robin Unger put up this stabilized version of the Towner film showing the Woman and Baby:

I did a Screen Save, and then I cropped them out:

So, that's all we are getting from the film. But here is the cut-out that Robin Unger provided separately:

Let's put them side by side:

Somehow, the waving hand, which is above her head on the left, got converted into a flat halo on the right. And there is a heck of a lot more enhancement of both of them on the right.

What I am saying is that when they present these enlargements, they are modifying them and enhancing them and adding content to them. When I try to go from the raw film to the final result that they get, I can't do it. I can't get there. And I seriously doubt that anybody can. They are cheating. They are adding content to the enlargement and pretending that it's present in the original.

And that brings us to the disputed figure outside the TSBD. Robin Unger has provided a clear version of that too.

Yes, it's very clear. And then they provide a comparison of the disputed figure with Bush.

But, let's compare their crisp image to the usual one:

What I am suggesting is that the forehead is more massive on the right. They don't quite look the same. It's a subtle difference, but it's there. There is just more forehead on the right. I'll have more to say about this.
