There is a consensus now among the core members of the OIC that the place where the Altgens alterations were made was the Dallas printing firm of Jovall-Chiles-Stovall. The irony is that Oswald worked there for six months as a photo copier, from October 1962 until April 1963.

Jovall-Chiles-Stovall did classified work for the US government in map-making, including maps of Cuba during the Cuban Missile Crisis. A question existed as to whether Oswald had access to any classified materials when he worked there.

Robert Stovall testified before the Waren Commission and said that Oswald never came in contact with classified materials, but other employees said otherwise. Some said that he had a key to the building and would go there on the weekends- just himself.

As an aside, October 1962 was when the Cuban Missile Crisis happened. So, Oswald was working at the firm that was providing the Department of Defense with maps of Cuba during the crisis.

My point is: why would Lee Harvey Oswald NOT want to catch a glimpse of Kennedy on November 22? Kennedy was at the center of that crisis with the Soviet Union. Oswald had lived in the Soviet Union, become a citizen of the Soviet Union, and married a Soviet woman. Don't you think he was affected by it? Don't you think he would have had as much or more desire to go outside and see Kennedy as anybody else who worked at the TSBD?

Where do these people get off thinking that Oswald would have been indifferent to seeing Kennedy?

Oswald kept meticulous logs and worked overtime at JCS. But then, on April 1, he was summarily fired for "inefficiency, lack of precision, and inattention." But that was followed by his New Orleans escapades, which were so crucial to setting him up as a pro-Castro communist. So, was it all part of the plan?

And I have to wonder what Oswald thought when he got to the TSBD in October 1963. I mean upon seeing his old buddy from the Civil Air Patrol there as a supervisor, Bill Shelley. Perhaps he also found out that David Byrd, the founder of the CAP, owned the building. I wonder if Lee was as averse to coincidences as I am.

JCS was a CIA-connected company, and so was the TSBD. Bill Shelley was CIA from its inception in 1947. William Westin, in The Spider's Web, said that the TSBD was a CIA front company for whom book distribution was a front for other clandestine activities, including gun-running.

Oswald wasn't stupid. He was working at JCS which was doing top-secret work for the government. Then, he goes down to New Orleans. and he's working for the Reilly Coffee Company, which was CIA. Then, he returns to Dallas and is working for the TSBD. He had to get the picture that they were all connected.

The whole idea that Oswald got his job at the TSBD because Mrs. Paine was having tea and crumpets with the neighborhood ladies. and one mentioned that they still might be hiring at the TSBD, needs to be looked at with a jaundiced eye. Again, Oswald wasn't stupid.

Here's a map which shows how close JCS was to Dealey Plaza.

It makes an awful lot of sense that the conspirators would have taken the Altgens photo to JCS for alteration. For one, time was of the essence, and it was very close. For two, if they sent it someplace far away, there was greater risk that more people would have seen the original. My hunch is that only a handful of people saw the original, and they promptly destroyed it once they were finished with it. And three, it makes sense that the conspirators anticipated ahead of time that there would be photos that needed altering. Here you had a place that could do it that was already tied in with the DOD and the CIA, and that even knew the whole situation about Oswald, who had worked for them. They were perfect for the job.

But, for those sticklers among you, we have a direct reference. It's from High Treason2 by Harrison Livingstone. In it, he makes reference to Roscoe White, who was one of the alleged shooters of JFK. Roscoe White is also one of the suspicious untimely deaths in the JFK assassination, where he died in a mysterious house fire. His son has maintained to this day that it was murder.

But, White had a friend who was also a preacher by the name of Jack Shaw. Shaw said that Roscoe White confessed to being a shooter of JFK. He also confessed to Shaw, his preacher, that he had had an affair with a woman who worked at Jaggars-Chiles-Stovall WHICH WAS BEING USED BY THE CONSPIRATORS AS THEIR OPERATION HEADQUARTERS FOR THE ASSASSINATION. That's a direct quote from High Treason2.

Yes, the Altgens photo was altered: altered multiple times. The evidence is pointing to Jaggars-Chiles-Stovall as where it was altered. And since it was just a few blocks away from Dealey Plaza, they had more than sufficient time to do it.
