We have the testimony of two people, Marina Oswald and George DeMohrenschildt, that Oswald liked and respected and admired JFK. David Lifton tells us that not only did Oswald read JFK's book, Profile in Courage, but when he heard that JFK was reading various books, he would read them, an example being James Bond books. The idea that Oswald would prefer to sit in the lunch room doing nothing when JFK rode by is preposterous. It is preposterous that he said it, and it is preposterous to think that he did it.

Often, the claim gets connected with a Coke, that he was in the lunch room drinking a Coke at the time of the murder. But, Oswald did not get a Coke until AFTER his encounter with Truly and Baker. Both Truly and Baker said that he had no Coke when they saw him.

And it's interesting that John Armstrong expressed his conviction, shared with me, that Marrion Baker was straight as an arrow, that he was not a conspirator, that he did not lie. And Marrion Baker said that Oswald had no Coke. I don't make the same claim for Roy Truly because he did work at the TSBD and it was a CIA front company, as explained in The Spider's Web by William Weston. But regardless of what the truth is about Truly, there was definitely no conspiracy between Baker and Truly, and neither one saw Oswald with a Coke.

So, the whole notion of Oswald drinking a Coke at the time of the murder is total bull shit. But, so is the notion that he was in the lunch room.

Yes, he was in the lunch room before the assassination and perhaps as late as 12:25, as per Carolyn Arnold. And he was definitely in the lunch room again after the lunch room by 12: 31 + 10 seconds.

But, where was he in-between? He was down in the doorway, out with Bill Shelley in front, and we can see him there. And our seeing him there prevails over every other consideration there is. This is reality, people. This is undeniable reality. Oswald in the doorway, an absolute fact, an absolute certainty.
