You know, this signed image is just plain weird- regardless of Robert's age at the time. Even he was older than 1, when does a mother sign a photo like that to her son at any age? ALL my love? ALL? Isn't that more of a wife, girlfriend, lover thing to say?

Maybe bpete has got a signed photograph like that from his mother hanging on his wall, but I'm telling you that it is weird.  I think somebody must have decided to embellish that photograph with that signing in order to sell it. And I don't mean to sell it for money but to establish its legitimacy. And maybe the person who did it was Robert Oswald. He had to know that that woman was not his mother. I tell you he was part of it: the whole conspiracy and framing of Oswald.

The problem is that these people don't think when they creates these ruses. This one went way over the top. It went too far. It would have been much smarter to have her write that to Robert Oswald's father. He lived until shortly before Lee's birth, so why not? Then, instead of signing "Mother" she could have signed her name. Then at least you would have had something plausible. But, this fucking thing is a joke. Stupid is what stupid does.

One has to wonder why the real Marguerite didn't scream bloody murder when she heard the fake Marguerite prancing around and grabbing the limelight after the assassination. "I am the real Marguerite Oswald" she could have said at a hastily called press conference with her lawyer at her side. So, why didn't she?

It must be because somebody talked to her, and again, the most likely person was her son Robert. "Mom, they will kill you if you say a word. You are to say nothing." - that kind of thing.

But admittedly, I'm just speculating. I don't know when the real Marguerite became aware of the Two Oswalds and the Two Marguerites. She had to know after the assassination. She had to know that the Lee Harvey Oswald under arrest and then silenced by Jack Ruby was not her son. The two didn't look THAT much alike, and as the mother of one of them, she'd have known on first sight. But, it's possible that her awareness began BEFORE the assassination. Maybe they bought her silence with money.

And what happened to her son Lee with the bull neck? Many presume that he must have been killed forthwith after the assassination. But, John Armstrong isn't so sure. Would Robert Oswald have gotten involved and supported the whole ruse if it involved his younger son being terminated? Maybe they swifted him out of the country and got him a new identity. Maybe they even had him undergo plastic surgery to change his face. Kind of like Ted Olson's wife?

Maybe you think it's just a coincidence that Ted Olson, after telling the world that he spoke to his doomed wife aboard AA77 on its way to the Twin Tower in a call that the FBI said never happened, just happened to meet and fall in love with a woman who looked strikingly like his late wife. It's just a coincidence, right? Or, maybe it's like the Hitchcock movie Vertigo, where Jimmy Stewart meets and falls in love with a woman who looked strikingly like his late wife- except that it was her. Is this a case of life imitating art?
