How obtuse are you, Backes? Apparently, pretty damn obtuse. Even before he began his work for the HSCA, Groden was resolved that Lovelady was Doorman. That's the only reason the HSCA hired him.

Do you think there is any chance the HSCA would have allowed an outcome in favor of Oswald? You think they just left it up to Robert Groden, and whatever he arrived at they would publish? Is that how you think it worked?

Robert Groden was vetted by the HSCA. He must have assured them- going in- that he would find for Lovelady. And, it's not that I think they trusted him. I'm sure they had had him followed and monitored the whole time. And, if he showed ANY tendency or even open-mindedness to find for Oswald, they would have fired him in an instant. This was way too important to take any chances on. It was neat that they had a well-known CT doing it, but they were not indifferent to the outcome. Everything hinged on it. Groden had to find for Lovelady, and I'm sure that was clearly communicated to him.

So, what did Groden do? He avoided putting any images of Oswald and Doorman together. He never assembled anything like this:

  or this:

or this:

The man and the clothing are a dead-on match. That is, everything except for the hairline, which was altered to make him look like Lovelady. But, everything else about Doorman, including his complete wardrobe, are pure Lee Harvey Oswald. He can't not be Oswald.

I repeat: Nobody who has come to realize that Oswald was Doorman has EVER reversed himself. We have lost no one.

Our numbers grow, and your numbers shrink with every passing day.
