Alright, now let's play hardball. Here is a frame from Hughes which shows 2 street signs, that is two stacks of street signs. These are on the east side of Houston Street. You see 4 signs total.

You see the four signs, right? Moving along, we now see the two rear ones, and one farther down that is single.

You see the two and then the one, right? Here they are again a few frames later:

The two stacked ones are now at the far right of the image. Now, let's advance a few more frames.

Now, on the left side, you've got what appears to be two much larger stacked signs. And, they also have a different tone. The almost look ghost-like.

So, that's the full scope, and the signs on the right give you some idea of the proper perspective, size-wise, of the signs. Note that the two stacked signs on the far right are closer to Hughes than the ones on the left, so they should loom larger. It is preposterous to think that the two on the left would loom as large as they are.

Notice that the bottom one looks to be much larger than the top one. They weren't that way.

On the right, you can see that those signs weren't that big, and they certainly weren't that wide. They were quite narrow. There is no reason to think that they were any larger than the signs on the other side of the street. The signs on the left were artificially inflated to cover-up the east side of the doorway.
