Backass, you are completely ignorant. I am DELIGHTED that this Betzner image exists and is available. It confirms EXACTLY what I suspected which is that Betzner caught the doorway, but when they confiscated his film, they cut it out.

That image was cropped vertically and horizontally- and severely in both cases.

Exactly when did they confiscate that film from Betzner? At the time he took the pictures, Kennedy hadn't even been shot yet. Perhaps the third one overlapped some shooting. But even so, why was there anybody there asking him for his film? Tina Turner, in front of him, was also asked to turn over her film. Phil Willis, who wasn't far away, was asked to turn over his film. Do you see a pattern here? The conspirators knew there would be spectators there capturing images of the event, and they knew, full-well, that they needed to confiscate them, and they had the manpower there to do it. CONTROLLING THE PHOTOGRAPHIC RECORD OF THE JFK ASSASSINATION WAS A PRE-PLANNED, PRE-ARRANGED PRIORITY. And I am sure it included the awareness and anticipation that some images would have to be altered.

Betzner caught at least some of that doorway, and remember that Oswald was in the middle of the doorway. It means that Betzner only had to catch half the doorway in order to catch Oswald.

They cropped the photo below on the left side.

There was NO REASON to do it from a news-value perspective. There was no reason to have the limo so large and so exclusive. There would have been much more value in seeing the CONTEXT in which the limo was captured, to really capture not just the limo but the SCENE, which was JFK rounding the corner from Houston to Elm and entering Dealey Plaza. All that was lost the way that they cropped it.  Why? Why? Why? The answer is: Lee, Lee, Lee.
