Now Richard is stuck in a trap of his own making. He asked me: "what do you think Oswald was telling them during his 8 hours of unrecorded interrogations?" I don't know, Richard. What do you think he was telling them?

What are you implying? What are you professing to know? That Oswald told them all about the assassination plot? That he was up there on the 6th floor with a loaded gun with Malcolm Wallace and Loy Factor and Ruth Ann Martinez? Is that what you think he told them?

And did he also tell them that he chose not to shoot and decided instead to watch the slaughter from the doorway? How do you think those police and FBI agents reacted to that? And then did he add that afterwards, he resumed his collaboration with them by getting in a car with them and driving off? And did he tell them that he had every intention of flying out of the country with them from Redbird Airport? How do you think they reacted to that? If Oswald admitted to knowing the entire plot and all the participants, don't you think they would have said to him:

"Look, Lee, you say you were only pretending to go along with them, but you admit now that you did bring a rifle and ammunition to work, and you do admit that even when you knew that the President was going to be killed imminently that you continued cavorting with them until close to the very end, and even then, instead of going outside and grabbing a policeman- and we had policemen there- and telling him what you knew and trying earnestly to save the President's life, you say you knowingly watched him die. And then you say you drove off with the killers and continued to follow their directives? How can you expect us to believe that you weren't really aligned with them?

Do you not realize that your responsibility- not only as an intelligence agent, which you claim to be, but also as an American citizen was to act to save the President's life? But you are telling us that all you did at the crucial last minute was pay your last respects to him. PAY YOUR LAST RESPECTS?  Are you out of your mind? You expect us to care about that? Your duty was to act to save the man's life- whatever it took. Why didn't you tell somebody? Why didn't you run out into the street? Why didn't you grab the attention of one of the motorcycle cops? All you had to say was:

"The President is about to be shot. There are four teams of assassins. Stop the motorcade."

But, you just let him die. What? Say that again? An abort team? You were counting on an abort team to show up to stop it? .

But Lee, this was a life or death situation. YOU had the knowledge that the President was about to be killed, and that means that YOU had the responsibility to stop it. You didn't have the luxury of hoping that an abort team would show up to do it.  You had to do it. You had to stop it.. It was your duty. It was your obligation. And in this case, not doing it makes you an accomplice in the crime. It makes you an accessory to murder. The difference between you and the ones who pulled the triggers is negligible. It's nothing. Can't you see that, Lee? It's true whether you can see it or not, but I'd like to think that you are smart enough to see it.

Now, what I want you to do next is provide us with the names of the FBI Agents whom you say you contacted, who you think will confirm that you work with them and will also certify that you did contact them about the plot. Give us their names. We'll look into it. And if what you say is true, we'll find out from them why they didn't act on it. And we will hold them accountable, just as we are holding you accountable. We want to know who you contacted, when you contacted them, what information you gave them, and how you contacted them. Give us every single detail.

I doubt they are going to confirm your story, but we'll see. But, whether they do or don't, it doesn't matter, Lee. It can't save you.

YOU KNEW THAT THE PRESIDENT WAS GOING TO BE KILLED, AND YOU LET HIM DIE. AT THE LAST MOMENT, YOU DID NOTHING. YOU JUST LET HIM DIE.

Nothing can get you off the hook for that, Lee. His blood is on your hands. And that is why we are charging you with the murder of President John F. Kennedy.
