Judyth Baker responded, at length, to me, and I have to say: it's sad. It's sad because her ability to reason through this stuff is completely lacking. She says things that are preposterous with no awareness that they are preposterous. Yet, she is like the Ellen G. White of the JFK world, and that is not only sad but depressing.

She started by saying that she didn't say Oswald threw a firecracker or military blasting cap out the window but that he might have.

But, you have to have a good reason to suggest a might-have. You can't do it just because you can conceive of it. It has to be not just possible but likely.

And in this case, she not only suggested it, but she suggested the floor on which he might have done it: the second floor. What is the basis for saying that? Where would he get a military blasting cap? And why would he think that this was an effective way to save Kennedy? It is ludicrous from every angle.

Then she just nonchalantly said that Lee was part of an "abort team". An abort team? Where does she get these ideas? There was no abort team. Nobody would respond with an abort team. If authorities knew that Kennedy was going to be attacked they'd keep him from going there. They'd call it off. They'd arrest the people behind it: immediately. They wouldn't send an abort team. This is fanciful nonsense. What was the abort team going to do? Have a shootout in Dealey Plaza with the kill team? There are no abort teams. That's just something from Mission Impossible. It has nothing to do with real life.

Next she said that Lee might have been the one who turned off the power in the building. There she goes again with another might-have. Why does she assume she has the liberty of assuming anything she wants? And how was that going to save Kennedy?

Look: if Oswald knew what was going to happen, he needed to go to the authorities right away and tell them: not show up with blasting caps on the day of the slaughter and a plan to turn off the power. The assassins were shooting with rifles in broad daylight, and most of them weren't in that building. Turning off the power wasn't going to stop them.

Then, she tried to rely on Loy Factor for something. But, Loy Factor said that he saw Oswald shoot at Kennedy from the 6th floor. That's what he said. If you think Loy Factor was wrong about that, then you can't use him for anything else. You have to reject Loy Factor. This is not an eclectic thing where you can rely on parts of his story, the ones that you like, and reject the rest. Either you accept what he said or you don't.  And he said that Oswald shot at Kennedy. He also said that a woman was up there who said "one, two, go" waving her arm, as if the shooting would be conducted that way. It's nonsense. It's stupid.

The whole thing is ridiculous. Loy Factor is ridiculous; Judyth Baker is ridiculous; and the people who follow them are ridiculous.

And, Judyth continues to insist that Oswald sent the telex- not just that he was the informant who was mentioned in the telex but that he sent it. But take a look at it. Look what it says at the top.

It says that it was sent to ALL Special Agents in Charge. All, as in all over. That means it was sent to FBI offices everywhere. And it says that they should contact all the informants in the "logical" racial and hate groups. BUT, PRESUMABLY, OSWALD KNEW EXACTLY WHO WAS DOING IT. SO, WHY WOULD OSWALD, WHILE PRETENDING TO BE THE DIRECTOR OF THE FBI, SET THE WHOLE BUREAU OFF DOING THAT? HE KNEW IT WASN'T SOME RACIAL OR HATE GROUP. HE KNEW EXACTLY WHO THE GROUP WAS THAT WAS DOING IT. So, why set the whole Bureau off on a fishing expedition? So, why would he have written it that way? And why can't Judyth see how bizarre it is? Why can't her followers see it?

And Judyth does not understand how telexes work. Oswald could not have gone into a telex office in Dallas on November 17 and told them,"I want to send a telex to every FBI office in the country, and I want to say that I'm the Director of the FBI."

He couldn't have done that. A telex is LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is something that is authenticated. He could have only sent it as himself. And how could he possibly have the telex numbers of every FBI office in the country? How could he have the money to send all those telexes? How could he send telexes from Dallas that were made to look like they were sent from Washington? The machine knows where it is. THIS IS PREPOSTEROUS! It is childish. It is insane. What the hell is wrong with people?

Then, Judyth Baker helps herself to the idea that Oswald's note to Hosty informed him of the assassination plot. But, that doesn't make any sense. What does she think it said?

"You should know that they're going to kill the President on the 22nd. Big shootout in Dealey Plaza. Counting on you to stop it."

How could Oswald have put something like that down on paper and handed it to a secretary whom he didn't know? If anything, he would have just told her: "Tell Agent Hosty that I really need to speak to him, that it's urgent that he call me." That's it! He wouldn't have said anything more particular than that to a secretary, and he certainly wouldn't have put anything more particular than that in writing.

And, as I've said, Hosty was there sitting across from Oswald at the very first interrogation. Wouldn't Oswald have said something to him like:

"I tried to get word to you, Hosty. I warned you in writing that this was going to happen. I tried to stop it by informing YOU, and you know it. Now tell them."

But no, instead, Oswald just erupted at Hosty for going to visit his wife. He didn't say anything about having warned him about the assassination.

It is preposterous to think that Oswald's note to Hosty warned about the assassination. How could Oswald know where the note would wind up?  In whose hands it would land? Even if he thought he could trust Hosty, so what? It could have wound up in the hands of those whom he was pretending to be involved with to commit the assassination- and believe me, it is painful for me to even type that because it is so preposterous.

The point is that as an informant, as an under-cover agent, Oswald would have been very, very careful about who he informed and how he informed. He wouldn't have scratched out such explosive information and left it with a secretary. Besides, he'd have known that all the exact details of what he knew were required, which was more than he could scratch out in a note.

So, the most he would have said in a note was, "Call me; it's urgent." But, if Hosty didn't call, and we know he didn't, then what? Would Oswald have just said to himself, "Well, I tried."

Look, the whole idea is preposterous. Oswald did not write a note to Hosty about the assassination. And I'm not saying that Judyth is the only one who has thought that way. Oliver Stone did too in JFK.

Well, snap out of it, Ollie. Oswald was not a secret agent. He wasn't James Bond. He wasn't Ethan Hunt. He was just a patsy. He was just set up to take the fall. He didn't know anything about the assassination, and he said he didn't know anything:

"I don't know what this is all about. Nobody has told me anything. I know I am accused of murdering a policeman. I know nothing more than that. I request that someone come forward to give me legal assistance."

That is what Oswald said to the entire English-speaking world. It was broadcast all over the world. He meant it. He was speaking truthfully. He wasn't lying to the world.

The most depressing thing about this is that Judyth Baker is doing more harm to the JFK truth movement than Vincent Bugliosi or Gerald Posner or John McAdams ever could. She is replacing their false story with one that is equally false but in a different way. And for some reason, people are listening to her and believing her, and following her like lemmings over a cliff. What is wrong with them? Why can't they be smarter? Why can't they see through her? Why do they believe her? Why?
