There is an article by VT Editor Gordon Duff which came out a year ago, but it's new to me. Besides VT, it was also published on presstv, and it concerns the the theft of the 2000 Presidential election by George W. Bush.

"A group closely aligned with a 'not so hidden' world government made up of financial criminals, oil and defense corporations, groups like the Council on Foreign Relations, Trilateral Commission and Bilderbergers and extremist groups that penetrated all western military and intelligence commands exercised a violent overthrow of the government of the United States."

"The operational planning group was the Project for a New American Century (PNAC), tasked with rigging the 2000 election, organizing the corporate media behind the coup."

"As some may remember, the Supreme Court appointed George W. Bush as president, on a 5/4 vote on pure party lines. Retired Justice Sandra Day O’Connor, in recent public revelations has “strongly hinted” at the court’s legal misconduct in 2000."

"Less publicly, secret deliberations, now in the hands of key leaders, penetrate the secrecy behind this critical time. The Supreme Court, led by a five-member cabal at the heart of the coup, knowingly abrogated state’s rights, separation of powers and equal protection provisions of the constitution to empower a criminal conspiracy intent on unleashing an American dictatorship on the world as a 'super-cop.' "

All true, but I noticed that the first comment at the finish said that Al Gore is the perpetrator of the global warming hoax and would have been no better than Bush.

Can't argue with that. And anyone who doesn't know that global warming is a hoax had better get informed. Reading John Casey's Dark Winter would be a good place to start. There are many fine interviews of John Casey on Youtube:

But, be that as it may, if Al Gore had become President in 2001, here is what would not have happened:

1) 9/11 would never have happened. It was the brainchild of the Project for A New American Century, a neo-conservative group who are all Republicans. So, why didn't Democrats do something about it? For the same reason they didn't they do anything about the murder of President John Kennedy, a Democrat: Once it happened, the prevailing powers swept support for the official story into the realm of political correctness, and self-interest caused everyone in power (in government and media) to back it.

2) And since 9/11 was the complete and only basis for the invasion of Afghanistan, it means that there would have been no Afghan War if Gore had assumed office- and it is now the longest war in US history and by a wide margin, and with no end in sight.

3) And likewise, if Gore had assumed office, there is no reason to think there would have been an invasion of Iraq. And according to Johns Hopkins researchers, as published in the Lancet, the most prestigious medical journal in the world, over 1,000,000 people got killed in that war. And that was as of 2006. http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article18765.htm
One million people is a lot of people, and it makes George W. Bush one of the worst mass murderers of all time. How many leaders have brought about the deaths of over a million people? And when you consider the fact that everything Bush claimed as a justification for invading Iraq was a lie, meaning that Saddam Hussein had no weapons of mass destruction; he had destroyed them just as said he did, that Hussein was NOT collaborating with Al Queda, that he did not buy yellow cake from Niger, etc. that it makes Bush one of the worst criminals of all time. And here he is in 2014 prancing around the media celebrating his book about his father, when the truth about George HW Bush is www.bushkilledjfk.com.

So, even if you think that Al Gore is a buffoon, you really ought to wish that he took office in January 2001- if only for the sake of saving human lives.

Would we have gotten the Patriot Act from President Al Gore? Of course not. So, Gordon Duff is right: the theft of the 2000 election was a turning point in American history and world history. Please share the article:
