A announcement DURING the motorcade, as it was leaving Love Field, made no mention of the turn on Elm. It got to Main and said "west on Main to Houston, through the Triple Underpass, and then on to the Trade Mart."
He didn't say anything about turning north on Houston to get to Elm.
