Barry Ladd has raised an interesting point about the shadow over her hand. Shadows were being cast backward or to our left as we view the picture, as Barry demonstrates. So, what cast that shadow across her fingers? Supposedly, she just had her arm stuck out waving. So what was casting shadow on her hand?  Notice that you don't see any shadow across JFK's fingers.
