Oswald in the doorway: the blog of the Oswald Innocence Campaign, by Ralph Cinque

I found another inaccurate claim on the website of David Von Pein, which hopefully he will fix, as he did the other one.

I am referring to the claim that between the Oswald shooting and the time the ambulance attendants slid him into the ambulance was an interval of 4 minutes. 

That's wrong, as I'll explain, but it's not entirely his fault because it's also made by the Sixth Floor Museum. 

Of course, it's arbitrary as to when to make the peg of the ambulance getting to Oswald. But, he wants to peg it to when the attendants were loading him into the ambulance, and that's fine with me. From his website:

He's also got a video there of what he claims is"raw footage" from KRLD. He didn't mention it, but it gives us the ability to time it ourselves.

So, I did, and to my surprise, I got just 3 and 1/2 minutes. But, that seemed fishy to me, so I checked another, independent version of the KRLD footage.

And, you know what? It was longer. Much longer. It was 5 and 1/2 minutes. 

Percentage-wise that is a big difference. A huge difference. But, it may have been longer than that. That's because, just as David Von Pein used an edited version of the KRLD footage (although he called it "raw") this other one could be edited too. 

So, what we know now is that the interval was at least 5 and 1/2 minutes, but it may have been longer. 

It's commonly claimed that Oswald was shot at 11:21 Dallas time, but I have found two guys who said it was 12:15, and one of them was Officer LC Graves, who was escorting and "protecting" Oswald. The other was the newscaster who looked at his watch and then said that Oswald was shot at about 12:15. 

I know that the NBC feed went to Dallas at 12:21 Eastern time, and it was supposed to be live, but it's eerie how they broke to it at the exact split-second that the trio emerged from inside the building. So, did they just get lucky? It would seem so, but I am a bit skeptical.

But, at the very least, David Von Pein should change the time from 4 minutes to 5 and 1/2. And he should remove the reference to "raw footage" and replace that with "edited footage."
