I got a call from the Trump campaign tonight. They wanted to know about this work that I'm doing concerning Lee Harvey Oswald being innocent. Well, I'll admit that that's not really what they called about. But, I'm not kidding that they called. They really did. It was a fund-raising call. And truth be told, it was just a recording. But, I had the option of pushing a button if I wanted to talk to a real person about contributing. But, I didn't push it.

But, they said something that surprised me. They said that if the election was held today, Hillary Clinton would win. Huh. I bet Donald Trump isn't saying that on the campaign trail. Isn't that something you're not supposed to say? Ever? Even when you're trailing in the polls by double digits, aren't you supposed to say that the polls aren't accurate?

And actually, even though I'm not inclined to give him any money, I think Trump's prospects are better than the conventional wisdom has it. In fact, if someone who is confident about Hillary gave me some attractive odds,  I'd be willing to bet on Trump.

And the reason why is because of the upcoming debates. Why do you think Trump trounced all those Republican jokers in the primaries? It's because he trounced them in the debates. He came across as the strongest, the most confident, the most sure of himself. He beat them in the debates, so he got more votes.

And, I think he is going to beat Hillary in the debates. If I were advising her, I'd tell her to go for as few debates as possible. And if I were advising him, I'd tell him to go for as many debates as possible.

There's a lot of flak on the internet about Hillary's failing health. And it's not just on the internet. I was in the market today and saw the cover of the National Enquirer which displayed a photograph in which she needed help from two people just to walk up a short flight of stairs. She needed a person on each side, and she looked pretty decrepit. I understand that she had a cerebral thrombosis, and I assume she's taking powerful anticoagulants. Well, look what happened to Ariel Sharon. He had a cerebral thrombosis, and they put him on anticoagulants (blood thinners) and the drugs caused him to have a massive hemorrhagic stroke. He was Prime Minister of Israel at the time. What followed is that he spent 8 years in a coma and died in 2014.

So, I consider it a dicey situation for Hillary. There is also talk that she's got some neurological disorder. There are Youtube videos in which she starts garbling words, getting confused, losing her train of thought. I also saw one in which she seemed to be convulsing.

Then, there is her weight. Some are saying that she weighs more than 200 pounds. In that case, she probably weighs more than Bill.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump's doctor said that he would be the healthiest President in US history. Now, how could he possibly know that? Wouldn't he have to have detailed knowledge about the health of every President? Seems like a stretch to me. Besides, Trump's doctor has got him on a statin drug; big mistake. What's he doing that foolishness for? Shit. Apparently, even billionaires can't get decent health care in this country.

And speaking of swearing, Hillary has got a new commercial in which she plays back some Trump statements in which he was in a raucous mood. In one, he's talking about some people, and he says they can go fuck themselves. I guess that's considered unPresidential, but was he running for President at the time that he said it? If not, I don't think it's fair game. Besides, would you really not vote for somebody just for saying that? How many times every day do Americans tell each other to go fuck themselves? I'm thinking it's in the millions.

Anyway, it's all very entertaining, but something tells me that it's going to get more so.
