The Wizard:

"Yes, exactly. With the longer face and the absurd eyebrows you get a different impression of his face."

"That thing that you discovered about alterations to the eyebrows in general is also a big deal here. The eyebrows are like the mustache for the eyes. In some ways the ROTC photo, even though you can't see his eyes clearly (possibly squinting in the sun), gives a better impression - and also fits the Imposter image, except for the widened nose."

"There is also that very early photo in which his hair is waved and braided up in some Edwardian fashion. I'm beginning to wonder if it was some FBI inside joke."

"The closest shot we have at Bookhout's 1963 face is that gif - but when the eyes just appear and you have the eyes, nose and mouth added but still have a sense of the wrinkles, etc. in the older face."

RC: The very fact that they did all these many and varied alterations to the early images of James Bookhout is a smoking gun that a dogged and systematic campaign was underway to hide his look. And why? Because he was the Garage Shooter of Lee Harvey Oswald. That's why. There can be no other reason. The FBI doesn't alter photos and mislead about appearances for no reason. And in this case, there is no other reason- none possible- except for James Bookhout being the Garage Shooter of Lee Harvey Oswald.
