James Bookhout's 11/25 report is actually very important. And that's because Bookhout confirmed that Oswald did say that he was out with Bill Shelley in front. Bookhout twisted it into Oswald saying he was out with Bill Shelley in front after the assassination when he was leaving for home. But since Shelley wasn't out there at that time, and admitted so, what Bookhout really was saying is that Oswald made up a story about seeing and interacting with Shelley outside when he left for home. According to Bookhout, it's not that it happened but that Oswald said it; he lied.

But, did Oswald lie about that? Well, let's look at it from Oswald's perspective. Would Oswald have lied to police about talking to Bill Shelley outside after the assassination? I don't see how. People tell lies that they expect to get away with. In this case, Oswald would have known that if he said that he and Shelley talked outside when he left to go home, that they would check with Shelley and ask him, and that Shelley would deny it (as he did). So, why would Oswald tell such a lie? And why would he need to lie about such a thing anyway? There were no legal issues involved. His departure from work may have been a violation of company policy, but it wasn't a legal issue. It wasn't a crime. Why would Oswald have to justify it to police? Bookhout made it sound that Oswald claimed to get permission from Shelley to leave, which again, Shelley denied. But, why would Oswald claim to have gotten such permission when he knew Shelley would deny it?

Look: people set up alibis with others. "If they ask you, you tell them that I was with you all evening," That kind of thing happens a lot. But, would someone do it without first getting the cooperation of the other person? You'd have to be insane to do that. And Oswald was not insane.

Therefore, by all sound reasoning, there is NO CHANCE that Oswald said he was out front talking to Shelley when he left for home. Therefore, "out with Bill Shelley in front" which Bookhout confirmed Oswald said, must have referred to the time of the motorcade when both Oswald and Shelley were standing in the doorway.

And then there happens to be a guy imaged in the doorway during the assassination who looks like Oswald and is dressed in Oswald's clothes. And what that means is that it has reached the point in time that it is INSANE to deny that it is Oswald in the doorway.  There is not even the slightest bit of doubt.
