Dan Rather actually claimed to be at the KRLD studio watching the Oswald shooting. He saw it, but not in person, he says.  

Well, this matter is still open. 

That is a very strong likeness, and the irony is that it's much better than the likeness between Jack Ruby and the Garage Shooter.

So, Backes endorses the above match-up. That he likes, but not the one below.
