Sparta, I just demolished W. Tracy Parnell's futile and worthless attempt to refute John Armstrong here:

https://oswaldinthedoorway.blogspot.com/2017/09/sparta-put-up-excerpt-below-from-john.html

Parnell didn't begin to refute Armstrong.

And you don't get it, Sparta: The very fact that the HSCA declared that there was most likely a conspiracy to kill Kennedy should have caused law enforcement in this country to start investigating, but nobody did. The Justice Department of the Carter administration did absolutely nothing. They never even addressed the issue of the acoustic evidence. They simply ignored the whole thing. They made no determinations about anything. They just walked away from the whole thing.

And why does Oswald's statement not count? Are you out of your mind? Of course, it counts. It counts as much as any other. So, what I said is correct, that it was 2 vs 2. And then, when you consider that in that vast crowded building, they could get no one to dispute Dougherty's claim of no long bag, and no one to support Frazier's claim, and we can be certain that Oswald was not invisible as he walked around, and that tilts the preponderance of evidence to Oswald.

And are you dense? Oswald repeatedly denied saying anything about curtain rods and insisted that he carried only his lunch. And, the fact is that most curtain rods are lightweight and flimsy, and especially so back then. There is no basis to think that Frazier could have seen a disassembled high-powered rifle in a bag and thought it was curtain rods, just as there is no basis for Michael Paine to see the same rifle wrapped in a blanket and think that it was a shovel or tent poles- as he claimed.

Now, regarding the examination of the HSCA anthropologists, they never did any precise measuring and calculating of the Doorman image. They said it was too blurry. So, most of their work involved a detailed comparison of Lovelady's image (from the 1950s, which the HSCA published as the mirror image, in other words, flipped) to one of Oswald (which the HSCA also published flipped). They did note the hairline match between Young Lovelady and Doorman (so I presume they worked with the unflipped images even though the HSCA published flipped ones) but the only reason it matched is because the photo alteration team in Dallas had taken Young Lovelady's hairline and applied it to Doorman. It's the one thing they did to turn him into Lovelady.

And Robert Groden was supposed to do a comparison of Oswald, Lovelady, and Doorman, but he never used a single image of Oswald. None. Zip. Zero. Zed. Nada. The closet he got to Oswald was to show Oswald's shirt, but it wasn't really Oswald's shirt. CE 150 is NOT an image of Oswald's shirt. It is bogus evidence that the FBI provided to the Warren Commission and which they accepted without question, of course. It can't possibly be Oswald's shirt. It couldn't possibly behave like Oswald's shirt, the way it folded over the way it did.

And why point to what Oswald said to a reporter in the hall when we have in writing what he told police, that he was "out with Bill Shelley in front"? How could he even know that Shelley was there unless he was there himself? And, it was the reporter who framed the question in the hallway. What if he asked, "Were you outside with the others at the time?" The vast majority of the TSBD workforce was outside at the time, so why not parse it that way? And how would Oswald have answered? We don't know, but I have an idea that it would have been illuminating.

The fact is that at that time, Oswald did not know the significance of him being on the landing right outside the door. He didn't know that he was photographed there. It's his being photographed there that makes it significant, not that it's outside. That entranceway is like a cave, and the landing is surrounded by building on 5 sides: left, right, back, above, and down. It's only open to the front. It is truly like a cave. Now, if you were deep in a cave, would you say that you were inside or outside? Rain is not going to hit you in a cave, and rain would not have hit Oswald where he was standing in the doorway.

But again, it's what he told police what matters, and what he told them is that during the motorcade, he was out with Bill Shelley in front. And Shelley was in the doorway.
