I used to wonder why Marina Oswald wasn't coming forward to advocate for Oswald's innocence. I realize that she remarried long ago, and I understand that her loyalties are to her present husband not her former one. But remember, Oswald only became her former one because "death did them part." The Oswalds were still very much married on November 22, 1963. They slept together the very night before.

And if for no other reason, why wouldn't she champion Oswald's innocence for the sake of her daughters?- to tell them and the world that their father was not a double murderer.

But, I think I know the reason why, and it's because Marina Oswald was the most damaging witness against Lee Harvey Oswald. And the irony of it is mind-blowing because if he had lived there is no way it would have or could have happened. Spousal privilege alone would have stopped it. But, if Oswald had lived, she never would have wound up in State custody. How HOW HOW can you prosecute a man for double murder while physically possessing his wife? It would have been grounds for a mistrial. Oswald would not have allowed it, and his lawyers would not have allowed it. They would have demanded her immediate release.

And let's think about this because they took possession of Marina on Saturday. She got to spend one last night at the home of Ruth Paine, the Friday night. But, they had stakeout police surrounding the house the whole night, and what do you think would have happened if she had tried to leave? So, she wasn't a free person even then.  You could say that she was detained from Friday afternoon onward, but we'll call it Saturday because that's when they moved her out. I wonder what they told her. It was probably that they were doing it for her own safety. But, the thing is: her husband was still alive at the time. She got to visit him at 1:10 on Saturday.for half an hour.  Had she been moved yet? No. I'm sure not.  She was moved into a hotel, the Six Flags Inn, and people don't check into hotels in the morning. Had they told her at that point that they would be moving her? I doubt it. Why would they tell her? Because: she'd tell Oswald, and he wouldn't like it.  He didn't like it when the FBI went and talked to her. So, how would he have felt about them taking her into custody? No; they must have told her afterwards, and he NEVER found out that the Leviathan State took possession of his wife. And then the next day, the Leviathan State killed him.

And once he was dead, that's when the real brainwashing of Marina Oswald began. And I suspect that they had real experts working on her. And by experts I mean mind control experts. And I'm sure they explained that she was emotionally traumatized, and when you are emotionally traumatized, your mind plays tricks on you. It causes you to block out memories, painful memories. But that with guidance, those memories can be brought back to the surface.

So, she was immersed; immersed in a world in which everybody saw Oswald as monster, Oswald as monster, Oswald as monster. And, it wasn't long before she took on new bed partners, and that's very significant because when you start sleeping with someone else, it breaks your tie to your husband like nothing else does. And then at the same time, this dirt-poor woman suddenly started being showered with money. She actually had to get a business manager. And we are talking about damn large sums for 1963; sums that most Americans were never going to see and accumulate in their entire working lives. And, it had to make the stories she had to learn easier to swallow and spew.

But, what about years later? Did she never wake up from this conditioning? Did she never look at herself in the mirror and reckon with herself about what she did?

I have never met her, but I know people who know her well, and these people have told me that Marina has lived in fear. Fear for herself and her daughters. Now, why would she have fear? Surely, she doesn't think that there are Americans who blame her for Oswald's actions and want to take it out on her. No, it isn't that. Marina Oswald became America's darling. Let's face it: she was very darling and attractive, and Americans felt sorry for her. They were showering her with money, so who was going to pull the trigger?

No, it wasn't that. I'm thinking that, subtly or not so subtly, she was given the message that, going forward, she needs to keep her mouth shut and never challenge the official story. Or else.

Or else what? Well, it really doesn't matter because I think it was an empty threat. How could they have harmed her? How would it have looked? It would have looked really bad. But, that doesn't mean they didn't use threats to control her.

But, she's getting up in years now. She reportedly has some health problems. If she were going to try to help Oswald, wouldn't now be a good time? Well, I know from something very recent and specific which I won't relate that she doesn't want to. But why?

In my opinion, this is the most important reason: it's because she knows what she did. Deep down inside, she knows she lied; that she railroaded him; that she sold him down the river. Facing and acknowledging what she did- to him- that's the rub. That's where the pain comes in.  That is the internal nightmare that she is in and has been suppressing. She was the most damaging witness of all to Lee Harvey Oswald, her own husband. That's got to be uncomfortable.
