Amy Joyce found it: a grey color on the vertical stripe of the ribbon on the hat. 

But, look at the hat on the table. The vertical stripe of the ribbon is as black as the rest of the ribbon. Black:

What does it mean? It means anybody can put shit on a table. It's all lies. Everything. The words. The images. The invoices. The claims. All of it: just filthy, bloodied lies by filthy, bloodied people.
